“The Meadow” Shepherds Hut @ Ballymartrim Wood

“The Meadow” is a quaint, rustic Shepherd’s Hut located in a meadow at Ballymartrim Wood. The hut features a double bed, wood burning stove, gas hob, storage space, solar lighting and a patio. There is a BBQ and fire pit and a toilet close by. The space Ballymartrim Wood is located on an active farm so there are opportunities to experience farming life and engage in new activities should you wish. You could observe, photograph, or paint the native wildlife or learn a new countryside skill. Wildlife you may see includes otters, reindeer, hares, rabbits, foxes, birds, hedgehogs ant many more. The woodland includes over 10,000 native woodland trees from oak to wild Cherry.
