Sit with a glass of wine by the fire 🔥listen to the frogs in the dam or down near the creek. We are often visited by kookaburras Koalas,wombats and more. If your visit is during overcast or cold periods Please take time to read the fireplace instructions & household manual before lighting the fire to avoid smoking yourself out :) The space If renting for 2 people you will only get access to half the house which includes master bedroom, with ensuite full kitchen and lounge with fireplace. The other end with 3 bedrooms ,laundry,and additional bathroom will remain closed and vacant but can be opened up at an additional cost with discussion and notice prior to arrival. This reduces our cleaning costs WORK CREWS we can accommodate your workers needs PETS we welcome well behaved pets , this is also our holiday home and is set up for cats with cat tower, we have 3 cows and a few chickens contained to the coop. There is no secure fencing for dogs around property so your dogs need to be on leash or have good recall (neighbours may shoot if they enter their properties and chase animals ) We have a semi secure enclosure next to the chicken run that is 6x6 metres dogs could be left in ( if they aren’t prone to digging out) so you can leave for short periods. Please keep couches covered with a blanket if the are likely to climb up CHICKENS Please do not enter the chicken run or let the chickens out. The chicken coop has an inner automatic door which closes at sundown the chickens will take themselves to bed into the fox proof coop The eggs can be collected at the rear of the coop please close the latch after. All farm gates must be closed after entering to ensure animals stay in. Be aware some of the farm fencing may be electrified if cows are in the paddocks next to the house. Guest access NOTE , we offer large discounts for longer stays but this means there is no daily turn over service ,every 10 -12 nights we will come and clean and change linen or leave for you as you prefer. Please note that if you are booking for 2 people this will be priced for 1 bedroom only , so the other end of the house will be locked off ,if you require another bed made up & room unlocked this is no problem but fees will apply. Only the listed guests on booking are to enter the property no visitors unless prior approval from property manager please. Lastly please respect our property and leave as you found please notify us of any problems as they happen, keep noise to a minimum after 10pm. Thanks in advance 😁 Other things to note Please understand this is an off grid property , as water is gravity fed water pressure is on the lower side &, on consecutive cloudy days heavy power usage may become an issue. You will need to limit high energy consumption appliances during these times, and rely on the fire for heat and hot water, as the solar will not heat the water to high temperatures and not be enough to run the split unit , so just light the fire and this will heat the water,and keep the place warm. During spring and summer we have never had any issues with this. Please do not leave negative reviews relating to these issues as you will be booking this well aware of these limitations.
