You will be staying in the old commandant's house of the officer and cavalry captain Hans von Borstel, who commanded the squadron of the 7th cuirassier regiment. The house has been restored in accordance with the monument and ecologically and furnished with authentic furniture. Wall heaters, clay plaster and lots of wood create a cozy atmosphere in which you feel comfortable. Our two spacious apartments each have two bedrooms and a fully equipped kitchen. Large rooms, high ceilings and authentic baroque interiors offer a special charm. Wall heating with individual room control, clay plaster and wood ensure a very pleasant room climate. The courtyard and the summer stage under the field barn are especially interesting in summer for smaller parties or to simply end the day. Counters, barbecue, fire bowl and wooden benches and tables ensure a convivial get-together. The Kommandeurhaus has high-speed Internet access (approx. 450 Mbps) and Wi-Fi throughout the house. At the "elbe kanu" canoe rental in Werben you can book small or large canoe tours on the Elbe - even a short taster tour from Räbel to Werben is possible. Ideal for enjoying the untouched nature of the Elbe. In addition to the diverse culture, you can also discover a beautiful natural landscape here. Storks, cranes, swallows and wild geese can be discovered here in large numbers. Other things to note We want to create an authentic baroque ambience that fits the house and its history. The Kommandeurhaus already offers a great atmosphere and we get a lot of encouragement and positive feedback from our guests. Nevertheless, we ask our guests for their understanding that not everything is perfect yet and some things seem improvised - the right interior is sometimes difficult to find and also expensive. Parties and events are only possible in the Kommandeurhaus by arrangement. In the quiet city, loud music is noticeable and we do not want to disturb our neighbors. Music must be reduced to courtyard volume after 10 pm in any case.
