Tucked away on a quiet hillside, this peaceful nature retreat offers the best of both worlds — total tranquility, and easy access to everything. Just off the scenic tourist drive, you’re minutes from all the local sights, yet feel a world away. Wake up to birdsong and sweeping views of the bay and town below. Whether you're here to explore or simply rest, this hidden haven is the perfect place to slow down, breathe deep, and reconnect with nature. The space Your self contained northside apartment is immediately on the left as you enter the house via your own private access, being the front door of the house. There is another airbnb apartment on the south side of the house, with its own parking, entrance and balcony. There is a sitting room and large balcony in the middle of the house, with a BBQ on the balcony, that is a common area and you are welcome to use. The owners live upstairs, and come and go via the common area. We will certainly say hello, but also appreciate your privacy during your stay. The most noisy thing you are likely to hear is the various birds playing in the morning, and the most frustrating thing will likely be waiting for the kangaroo to hop off the road (and stay off) if you drive in or out at night. Guest access You have your own allocated parking space, front door entrance, and ensuite studio apartment with kitchenette and balcony. Other things to note The apartment has one queen bed, and is suitable for up to 2 adults only. It is not suitable for children, due to the steep drop off in front of the house. We are an off grid property, powered by our own Solar System and a back up generator, and as such we appreciate you keeping electricity usage to a minimum (without compromising your comfort), and turning lights and aircon off as you leave the apartment.
