Self-contained cosy accommodation for one / two

A recently-refurbished, self-contained cosy space for one or two people (small dogs also welcome!). Great location! Half an hour from the south coast and ten minutes from the A303 - if you are headed South West! (or East?). Close to beautiful Somerset countryside, and around 5 minutes walk from the centre of Crewkerne - a lovely old town with various pubs/cafes and antique, boutique and charity shops to browse as well as a couple of supermarkets, and a leisure centre with a swimming pool. The space This listing is a recently refurbished annex at the front of my late-Victorian detached house. The annex is fully self-contained with its own entrance door and porch area with a bench (for enjoying afternoon sunshine!), a spacious entrance hall with storage including a wardrobe, and the following rooms: • A compact but fully equipped kitchen / dining / living room - with a table and two chairs, and a two seater sofa. The kitchen area includes an electric cooker with four-ring hob, main oven and separate grill; fridge-freezer and a washing machine**. • An upstairs bedroom with double bed and one bedside cabinet- note that the bed is against a wall on one side so can only be accessed from one side (or the end possibly). There is a chest of drawers. There is a TV here plugged into an aerial point for the basic Freeview channels. • A toilet and very spacious wet-room with electric shower (groundfloor). Bed linen and towels are provided. Central heating is controlled by a room thermostat, with radiators in the bedroom, shower room, kitchen and hallway. **There is a fold out airer if you do do any washing while you stay - it can be placed in the hall. Guest access KEYS I am usually around as I work from home most of the time, in which case please ring the doorbell by my front door (blue) when you arrive and I shall say 'hi' and give you your key! If I am going to be away or out when you arrive, I shall give you the code for the keysafe on the day of your arrival so that you can access the property. PARKING If arriving by car, you can park in my driveway behind my car. It is quite a tight turn into the driveway - if you prefer, and there is space, you can park on the road instead. Just go to the end of the road to turn round then come back and park on the LHS. I may at times need to ask you move to let me out, but I do not use it most days, so this shouldn't be too often if at all. BIKES If you are travelling by bike, it may be possible to store your bike(s) in my garage overnight - please ask! Other things to note You can find wi-fi details and other information on the Welcome card on top of the microwave. There is an ironing board and iron in the understair storage area. RECYCLING AND WASTE I try to recycle as much as possible and hope guests will do the same. I have tried to make it clear, but if you are not sure about what can be recycled, or how/where - please ask! Or you can check the recycling collections information on the Somerset Council website.
