Front and rear yards offer plenty of room for play and outdoor get togethers. The property abuts coastal bush and farmland creating a peaceful setting with plenty of bird life. Simply relax by the beach or explore nearby attractions of the region such as Tarra Bulga NP, the historical townships of Port Albert and Port Welshpool, and Gippsland Lakes. The space Our beach house is a classic example of a family holiday home. It is designed as a relaxed retreat ideally located to make the most of its proximity to 90 mile beach. The main house includes an open lounge, dining and kitchen area. Also in the main house are 2 bedrooms, bathroom, toilet and laundry. The rear detached flat includes 2 bedrooms and a lounge area with kitchenette. Both lounges in the main and rear houses can be folded out and used as double beds if required also. The front yard features a native garden and outdoor dining area. The rear garden features lawn areas and a veggie garden which back on to the adjacent coastal bush and farmland. Both the main house and rear flat have televisions and also wifi access. Please note that wifi and data coverage can be inconsistent in the area due to its location. Guest access Guests have full access to the property apart from the two rear sheds. Other things to note The township of Yarram, located approximately 20 minutes away, is the nearest service centre for all your supplies and services. The attractive township also has a renowned 18 hole golf course which has been rated as the top volunteer run golf course in Australia. We recommend a visit to the Woodside Beach Hotel, located 10km inland at Woodside on the highway turnoff. The hotel has fantastic meals and also offers a courtesy bus for transport between Woodside and Woodside Beach. Simply relax by the beach or explore nearby attractions of the region such as Tara Bulga NP, the historical townships of Port Albert and Port Welshpool, and the Gippsland Lakes. The location also enables easy day trips to locations such as Wilson Promontory NP, which is an hour and 40 minutes away. Woodside Beach is a popular beach fishing location with its wide sandy beaches offering year round opportunities to catch. Boaties can also launch at the nearby township of McLoughlins Beach which has excellent boat ramp facilities. Due to the property’s location adjacent to coastal bush and farmland, guests should always be cautious of the potential of snakes on the property. Guests are advised to always keep windows and doors closed (this will also assist with preventing flys and mosquitos entering inside).
