Beach House in Nature's Valley, Between Sea and Forest

Nature's Valley is the Garden route's best kept secret. Here, tucked-in between the sea and the forest, you will find this newly renovated and extended beach house. The house is modern, spacious and filled with light. Large windows serve as picture frames, bringing the outside in. The kitchen is open-plan to the dining- and living space with french doors opening out onto the large deck with garden and mountain views. The tranquil lagoon and enticing beach is less than a two minute walk away. The space The double volume entrance lobby, lures one up the staircase, along the uniquely curved timber wall, to the heart of the house. There are two bedrooms upstairs, each with its own bathroom and doors leading onto the deck outside. (Sleeping arrangements are somewhat flexible -The main bedroom has an extra single bed, suitable for a child up to 12 years. This bed can also be moved onto the deck and utilized as a day bed or moved to the third bedroom downstairs.) On ground floor level, the entrance lobby leads off to the games room and the spacious, en-suite, third bedroom, with french doors to the private garden. There are also a guest toilet, a laundry room and an outside hot and cold shower for your convenience. In the garden, you will find a rustic braai area under the trees with its own little bit of magic. The property is not fenced-in to allow wildlife to roam freely. Bushbuck are a regular sighting at dawn or dusk and at night, the bushpigs sometimes come to forage for food in the garden. On the deck, the elusive Knysna Loeries often pays a visit in the surrounding tree tops. The house and its magical surroundings, invite you to put your feet up, breathe a little, live a little...
