The Persian Square is a true mountain cabin with soul. Built in the 60s, but upgraded with, among other things, a new kitchen, toilet and bedroom. Here you get the nice combination of nostalgia and modern comfort in 😊 total about 88 sqm + 18 sqm outbuildings. Final cleaning is included in the total price. The cabin has 3 bedrooms inside + own outhouse with extra beds, a total of 10 fixed beds (up to 12) divided into 4 rooms. Two living rooms provide plenty of space to spread out – board games and fun in one, peace and reading time in the other 🎲 Large terrace with view, fire pit and sun all day invites to long summer days, while winter offers a fireplace after the ski trip. Mysusæter is the gateway to Rondane National Park (950 meters above sea level). Right outside the door you will find miles of hiking opportunities and ski trails and a toboggan run in the winter. Head to Rondvassbu or Furusjøen, or go on longer trips to Rondslottet, Storronden or Peer Gynt cabin. In walking distance you will find both convenience store and cozy cafe, and at Rondane Fjellstue you can enjoy local food (seasonal). The cabin is perfect for families, groups of friends and larger followers who will experience the mountain at its best – and the dog(s) is of course welcome 🐾 Parking for 3–4 cars right outside. Guest access Access to the cabin is provided by a code lock on the front door. Other things to note Bed linen and towels: Most guests bring their own bed linens and towels. If desired, these can also be rented from us for an additional fee of NOK 250 per person. Let us know in advance if you would like to use this offer. Garbage: thrown behind the shop/cafe down in Mysusæter. Winter: the road is not paved all the way forward. Parking approx. 500 m from the cabin (60 NOK/day). From here you go by foot or by skis – alternatively scooters can be booked. Summer: drive all the way up to the cabin. Bombing fee at Tjønnbakkvegen (NOK 50). Electric car: fast charging available at Rondane Høyfjellshotell. Animals in pasture: summer time sheep and cow can wander by. It happens they leave some traces in the yard. Shovel is available if needed. Firewood: Fill up, but can also be purchased according to consumption after that. Extra equipment: stroller and carrier can be rented if desired.
