This stay is a family friendly place with necessary basic amenties, in core area of mawlynnong just behind Church Of The Epiphany. Stay location is very much convenient to have real village vibes and walk comfortably in Mawlynnong village around. Eateries are at 3-4 mins walk from the stay. Riwai Living Root Bridge is @2km from the stay. Dawki is @1hr. drive from the Stay. Cherrapunji & Shillong are @3 hrs drive. Other things to note Kind Note for all those travellers visiting mawlynnong and staying in Stays. Mawlynnong is still remote village with less infrastructure or facilities as such from govt. Village has to face power outrages some time (10-15% chances) and when it rains very heavy with storm, more chances are there for power outrage. No one can not do anything in such situation apart from providing candles for light and so. Sometime electric equipment's like Electric Kettle, Geyser also do not function properly due to low voltage or so. Dependency on power unit also we have to strike out, because of challenges of repairing it(as frequently get faults due to weather, lightening or heavy fluctuations in voltage), fuel limitations (have to buy from at least distance of 2hrs drive) Apart from this, Internet signal or cellular network also can not be assured 100%. Normally there is phone network & also internet signal. but still there have been many instances in a year that there has been no phone network and/or internet signal. There are no broadband lines as such, so there is no wifi.
