Genuine log cabin, Solway Coast, beach and golf

Cumstoun Lodge is a genuine log cabin on a small private site. It stands in its own woodland garden and features just about everything you could need for a relaxing holiday or as a centre for an active break. It sleeps six in three bedrooms; one double, one twin, one with bunk beds. There is a comfortable open-plan living area with a wood burner , well-equipped kitchen, spacious outside area with seating, plenty of parking and safe space for small people to play. The space Enter the lodge to find a large, spacious, open plan sitting, dining and kitchen area beneath a lovely vaulted lodge ceiling. The fully equipped kitchen is a great space for social meal preparation with a dining table for family meals. The patio doors look over uninterrupted views of the countryside and beyond. A wealth of wildlife can be seen without leaving the comfort of the sofa. The open living space is light and bright during the day, but, is cosy and welcoming in the evening with a wood burner for those chillier evenings. The lodge has 3 bedrooms. Bedroom 1 is a good size double room with lovely views to the garden area and countryside beyond. Bedroom 2 is again a spacious room with 2 single beds and countryside views. Bedroom 3 again has 2 single beds in a bunk formation. Each bedroom has drawers and hanging space and its own heating. The main bathroom has a shower, WC and hand basin. There are gardens fully surrounding the lodge with additional outdoor seating on the decked area at the front. The garden area whilst not enclosed, has no through traffic or pedestrians and is a good size with plenty of grass space for children to play. Sandyhills Beach is walk a 10 minute walk from the lodge (parking also available) and is one of the regions most stunning beaches. Dogs welcome too. All heating, electricity, wifi, bed linen and towels are included within the rental costs. No hidden extras. Guest access The lodge is yours for full use. Other things to note There is plenty of easy parking to the front of the property. Note that there are two small steps into the Lodge but once inside all rooms are same level.
