In essence, Butterfly Safari Tent offers a blend of adventure and comfort, allowing guests to immerse themselves in nature without sacrificing modern convenience, set away from it all when you stay under the stars. Sleeps up to 8 people with a variety of sleeping arrangements, including king-size beds, a cabin bed, and a quad bunk room. A private sundeck with a hot tub and 360-degree views over the surrounding fields. Located by the river, offering a tranquil setting and beautiful river views. The space The Butterfly safari tent at Riverdale offers a luxury glamping experience with sleeping for up to 8 guests across a king-size cabin bed, two sets of bunk beds, and a snug double cabin bed, featuring an open-plan living area with a log burner, fully equipped kitchen, smart TV, and family bathroom. Outside, guests can enjoy a private decking with a dining table and seating, a firepit, a gas BBQ, and a wood-fired hot tub, with the option to add on a private sauna and cold plunge experience (booked separately). The location provides beautiful river views, access to walking routes, and a tranquil escape within the Yorkshire Dales. Inside the tent Sleeping: A king-size bed in a raised cabin, two sets of bunk beds, and a snug double cabin bed (sleeps up to 8). Living Area: An open-plan space with a log burner, comfortable sofas, a large dining table and chairs, and a smart TV. Kitchen: A well-equipped kitchenette with a hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, and tea/coffee facilities. Bathroom: A family bathroom with a spacious shower, toilet, and sink. Outside the tent Decking: A private decking area with a dining table for eight people. Firepit & BBQ: A gas BBQ and a firepit for outdoor cooking and relaxation. Hot Tub: A wood-fired hot tub for soaking and enjoying the views. Optional Add-on: A private sauna and cold plunge experience is available for an additional charge. Location & Surroundings River Views: The tent boasts stunning views from inside and its private decking. Nature: Situated in the tranquil countryside, providing a serene escape immersed in nature. Walking: Excellent walking territory right on your doorstep, with access to the Ripon Rowel Walk. Proximity: A short stroll from West Tanfield village, which has a famous pub. Guest access The tent is set within private grounds which you, as a guest, are free to enjoy. There are no restrictions as long as your follow the country code. There are walks to enjoy straight from your door. Other things to note We are very dog friendly and are happy to accept up to 3 medium sized dogs per booking. We even have a heated dog wash so you can enjoy the outdoors with your dogs and not bring it inside! Dogs are permitted under the strict policy that dogs are housetrained, well behaved (they don't bark incessantly) and they are NOT allowed on the beds and the dogs must not be left unattended. Damages will be chargeable.
