Description
My house was built in the early 1950s by my father Dante, a master mason who was in great demand at the time. It is a very simple house, with star vaults (typical of Salento architecture), delimited by 6 large pillars which, in turn, support the upper floor. The white color of the interior walls, the characteristic vaults, the "imperfect" plaster, and the sunny garden are the qualities common to the oldest houses in our towns. The space The house consists of two bedrooms, a kitchen with table, a large dining room, bathroom and a nice living room at the entrance, where there are also two armchair beds. The parking space is private and adjacent to the living room and is accessed directly from the living room itself. The kitchen overlooks the garden with a gazebo, table and chairs. It will be pleasant to spend the warm summer evenings outdoors, chatting and enjoying our specialties. My house retains the simplicity and originality of the 1960s, with typical furnishings and tools in different corners. The first thing you'll notice when you enter is the freshness of the rooms, even with the air conditioner off, typical of star vaults and the particular location of the house. Guest access Guests will have access to all the rooms in the house. They can use the kitchen and garden independently. We only ask that you avoid making noise after 11:30 p.m., as our garden is overlooked by other apartments with families residing here year-round. Other things to note Guests will undoubtedly enjoy the sea and the liveliness of the connected seaside resorts, but they cannot miss the opportunity to experience the magical atmosphere of the patron saint festivities of our villages. Festivals, where you can discover our flavors. The pizzica shows, performed in every corner of Salento, especially during the Night of Taranta, in Melpignano. A visit to beautiful Lecce, with its Baroque style, is also a must. Registration Details IT075056C200060710
