Situated in the picturesque village of Meikleour, Perthshire, this bright and spacious super king guest room is within the host’s home, with its own separate front door entrance. Stairs lead to your private bedroom and exclusive bathroom for your sole use, creating a peaceful retreat. Tea and coffee facilities, a mini fridge, welcome hamper and complimentary Wi-Fi, relax and enjoy your favourite streaming services on your own device. Just a 2-minute walk to the renowned Meikleour Arms Hotel. The space This accommodation is within our home, which we share with my husband, Bruce, our two small dogs, Ruby and Shadow, and our friendly (but sometimes cautious!) cat, Lola. Our pets are not permitted in the guest accommodation, although you may meet them as you enter through the front gate. We began our hosting journey in 2020 with our adjacent self-catering property, Beechwood Cottage. It has been a wonderful success, welcoming many returning guests and receiving excellent reviews. We have recently expanded our offering to provide a comfortable and affordable stay for guests looking for a peaceful place to rest, without the facilities of a full self-catering property. We look forward to welcoming you. Please note: Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate children or infants. Guest access Access the property through the roadside gate using the keypad code. A garden path leads directly to the front door, where guests can access the key safe and enter the property. The front vestibule leads upstairs to the guest bedroom and adjacent private bathroom. The front gate is also used by the homeowners to access the rear of the property. For everyone’s security, we kindly ask that the gate is securely closed after each use and that guests respect the privacy of the rear garden, which is reserved for the homeowners. There are beautiful woodland walks on the doorstep as well as many outdoor sporting opportunities (Local Fishing on the river Tay) This accommodation is ideally located with adventures to be found in all directions, be it a shopping trip to Blair Atholl at ‘The House of Bruar’ a walk at the ‘Pitlochry Fish ladder and dam’ or other historical sights found in Dunkeld, Dundee or Perth’s renowned Scone Palace.
