You have access to a covered barbecue area, a fire pit, and additional spots to relax. The use of the grill is permitted – perfect for warm summer evenings and sociable hours outdoors, surrounded by nature and the unique charm of Seelenholz. Other things to note Welcome to the Thal Nature Park – where nature and culture begin right outside your doorstep. Our log cabin is located in a small village in the heart of the Thal Nature Park. Shops can be found in the neighboring towns, and there is also a small restaurant right in the village. Around the Seelenholz holiday apartment, you will find scenic hiking trails, varied e-bike routes, idyllic picnic spots, and cozy mountain restaurants. From Easter until the end of October, the Nature Park Bus runs on Sundays and public holidays, taking you comfortably up to the second Jura ridge – so you can enjoy breathtaking views even without a car. ☀️ Spring, Summer & Autumn Crystal-clear streams and lakes – perfect for cooling off Hiking highlights such as Verena Gorge, Jura High Trail, or panoramic ridge hikes with views of the Alps Family-friendly spots like the Grünholz forest hut with playground ❄️ Winter in the Thal Nature Park Snowshoe hikes, sledding slopes, and cross-country ski trails Ice skating on natural ponds (weather permitting) Lantern & full moon tours, winter hikes on cleared paths Wildlife observation in the winter forest Nature Highlights: The Thal is home to many bird species such as hoopoe, woodpecker, various types of tits, kites, and more.
