Welcome to the “Seelenholz” log cabin – a lovingly furnished holiday apartment in vintage and shabby-chic style, quietly located in a small Jura village. Enjoy the bright living area with balcony, bedroom with morning sun, fully equipped kitchen and modern bathroom. The Seelengarten features bonsai trees, pavilions, barbecue area, outdoor-infrared sauna and seasonal wooden pool. Dogs are welcome. On arrival, a welcome basket with everything for your first breakfast awaits you – our gift to you. The space At Seelenholz, dogs are truly welcome. We have thought of many little details for our four-legged guests: a dog shower, towels, dog shampoo and even dog bathrobes are provided. On request, high-quality wet or dry dog food can also be arranged. The garden and beautiful natural surroundings are perfect for a relaxing stay with your dog. We also want our human guests to feel at home from the moment they arrive. A lovingly prepared welcome basket with everything needed for the first breakfast awaits you as our gift. Seelenholz is a place for those who appreciate nature, peace, personal touches and something a little special – with or without a four-legged companion. 🐾 Guest access Enjoy your private balcony and the spacious grounds with a lovingly designed garden, seasonal wooden pool (May to September) and several cosy seating areas. You also have access to a covered barbecue area, a fire pit and a separate terrace with an infrared sauna for two. Our four-legged guests are well cared for too: a dog shower, towels, dog shampoo, dog bathrobes and other practical extras are provided. Whether you want to barbecue, relax in the sauna or simply unwind in the Seelengarten, you’ll find plenty of peaceful spots surrounded by nature and the special charm of Seelenholz. 🐾 Other things to note Welcome to Naturpark Thal – where nature and relaxation begin right outside your door. Our log cabin is located in a small village in the heart of Naturpark Thal. Shops can be found in the neighbouring villages, and there is also a small restaurant right in the village. Around Seelenholz, you’ll discover beautiful hiking trails, varied e-bike routes, idyllic picnic spots and cosy mountain restaurants – many of them perfect for exploring with your four-legged companion. From Easter until the end of October, the NaturparkBus takes you up to the second Jura mountain range on Sundays and public holidays – ideal for excursions and hikes even without a car. ☀️ Spring, Summer & Autumn Discover clear streams and lakes, beautiful hiking trails and destinations such as the Verena Gorge and the Jura Crest Trail. Many routes offer wonderful views across the Jura and towards the Alps. There are also plenty of opportunities for long walks and outdoor adventures with your dog. ❄️ Winter in Naturpark Thal Depending on snow conditions, you can enjoy snowshoeing, cross-country skiing, sledging and winter hiking trails. Special experiences such as lantern and full-moon walks or wildlife watching make the region well worth discovering in winter too. 🌿 Nature & Local Flavours Naturpark Thal is home to a rich variety of wildlife and plants, with guided nature and birdwatching tours offered regularly. The region also has plenty of local specialities to discover, including alpine cheese, fresh apple juice, cured meats, fondue, raclette and homemade treats.
