Guests wanting a unique, characterful, countryside getaway. There's lots to entertain yourself with at the property and the delightful towns of Totnes and Dartmouth are very close by. Lots of pubs and restaurants within a short drive. Need to know.... - The is a new Airbnb listing but to see previous reviews please look in the photos. - Fingals is a collection of holiday properties and you should expect there to be other guests in the other properties on site. - Guests have access to a communal games room housing table tennis and a football table, a grass tennis court (only available during summer months) and an indoor heating swimming pool, gym and sauna (time slot bookings required). - Guests must bring their own towels for pool use. - Guests have access to communal laundry facilities near the games room, access will be provided when required, by the owners on site. About a holiday in the Dittisham area... Nestled along the stunning banks of the River Dart in South Devon, lies the enchanting village of Dittisham. Often referred to as "Ditsum" by the locals, this idyllic destination is a hidden gem that captivates visitors with its breath-taking beauty, quaint charm, and rich history. The quayside, the hub of the village, offers great crabbing opportunities, canoe hire or the sailing school to explore the river. Enjoy breakfast a the Anchorside Cafe or visit the iconic pink Ferry Boat Inn. Dittisham's timeless allure lies in its stunning location. The village is embraced by lush rolling hills and blessed with mesmerizing views of the River Dart, offering wonderful walks and access to the South West Coast Path. The river itself is a playground for water enthusiasts, providing ample opportunities for sailing, kayaking, and paddleboarding. A short ferry ride takes you across to Greenway, the once holiday home of Agatha Christie. The harbour town of Dartmouth is just a short drive or ferry ride away and offers an array of shops, a cinema, plenty of restaurants, pubs and even a castle. Further afield, there are plenty of fantastic sandy beaches such as Blackpool and Slapton Sands. The beautiful towns of Salcombe & Totnes are a 30-40 minute drive away and offer a wonderful day out.
