The space Let me tell you a little about our villa and its history :) Together with my husband, we traveled around Calabria in search of a holiday home for our family. The moment we saw what is now our villa, Stellina, we fell in love with it at first sight. We bought it from a wonderful elderly Italian family. The lady of the house was named Stella. It was in her honor that the villa was named, and we decided to keep that name. The trees growing in the garden were planted to celebrate the births of her children and grandchildren, so each tree’s size reflects the age of Stella’s children. Over the course of a year, together with our Italian team, we carefully restored and cared for the villa, thinking of every detail to create warmth and comfort. And indeed, the villa is wonderfully cozy — bohemian evenings, stunning sunsets, and the view from the yard and terrace have exceeded all our family’s expectations.The villa has three separate bedrooms with double beds, one and a half bathrooms, a lounge-living area, and a dining space with a kitchen. Across the entire width of the villa, there is a rooftop terrace offering a magnificent view of the Tyrrhenian Sea. On the lower patio, you can enjoy views of the sea and garden while spending time with the whole family. The villa boasts a large private yard planted with historic trees and palm trees. Just step out of the villa, go down the stairs, and you will reach a unique, free beach perfect for swimming. The villa is designed in a modern style, with every detail carefully considered for a comfortable stay. Each room is equipped with air conditioning to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter. In the bathroom, you’ll find a washer and dryer. The kitchen area is fully equipped for those who enjoy cooking. The villa also offers a selection of books and board games for peaceful relaxation and quality time together. The easiest and most comfortable way to reach the villa in Scalea is by renting a car at the airport.
