Nestled on the upper floor of our home, right at the edge of the forest, you'll find our spacious and sun-drenched holiday apartment. This is a very peaceful location with no through traffic. We look forward to welcoming you. We're always happy to help with any questions you have and want to make sure you feel completely comfortable during your stay. The space In 2024/2025, the apartment was renovated and newly furnished. It is very bright and open, yet still not visible from the outside (private). We used natural building materials and avoided carpets. The rooms are designed to be suitable for allergy sufferers. (We put a lot of love into the modernization and are delighted when our guests appreciate it.) The large property with its own little forest offers both sunny and shady spots at any time of day. The holiday apartment has a west-facing balcony, which gets sun from noon onwards and can be shaded with an awning. Additionally, there is a covered veranda that offers a wonderful spot with a view west over the valley in the evening sun. If needed, the veranda can be shaded so that you can sit there comfortably even on hot days. We live on the ground floor and are available for our guests if you need us. In about a 10-minute walk, you can reach a supermarket with a bakery, a drugstore, several pharmacies, the train station and bus stops, as well as the historical village center with restaurants and the tourist information office. A garage and a parking space directly in front of the apartment are available for your car. You can also easily arrive by train. Upon request, we can arrange for luggage transport. Other things to note Annweiler has an excellent location. The historic old town is perfect for walks, and thanks to the surrounding forest, it's always a few degrees cooler here on hot days than in the city of Landau, just 12 km away. For your daily needs, you'll find everything you need in Annweiler, with most things within easy walking distance. You're also welcome to use our bikes. All the city amenities in Annweiler and nearby Landau are easily accessible, including the weekly market, concerts, theaters, shopping, a climbing gym, the zoo, cinemas, bowling, and more. Do you enjoy hiking, cycling, or climbing? In the Palatinate Forest, everyone can find something to love. Many tours start right here in Annweiler. The bizarre sandstone rock formations are a unique feature of the area. Castles and viewpoints offer extensive views over the landscape, and numerous hiking lodges invite you to stop for a meal. Beer gardens and the Palatinate winemakers along the Wine Route are always happy to welcome guests. In the fall, the wine festivals are a major draw, local restaurants celebrate "Keschde" (chestnuts), and chestnut lovers return from their hikes with full backpacks.
