Beautiful small farm in a beautiful rural setting. A main house and charming courtyard. The place is from 1845, restored. Garden, balcony and barbecue area. Nice hiking areas, close to Drammenselva river with fishing opportunities. Small, nice lakes (Hoensvannet and others) with the possibility of SUP, swimming and fishing. Beautiful view. 7 min drive to the nearest grocery store and train station (Hokksund). If you want a quiet stay in a rural, quiet small farm with a lovely view, this can be recommended The space This is a small farm located in a rural area. There is immediate proximity to forest areas and agricultural areas, close to water (Hoensvannet, Himsjø) and rivers (Bingselva, Drammenselva) with swimming, paddling, SUP and fishing opportunities (incl. trout and salmon). You can take the car a short distance and go for walks in the Holtefjell or in Hoensmarka. The farm consists of a main house and a courtyard. The house has 2 floors, about 60 sqm/floor with 2 bedrooms (1 with 180 cm bed and 1 with 150 cm bed), an attic room with TV and a bed, 2 cots available. The kitchen is well equipped with fridge/freezer, dishwasher. There is a wood-burning stove in the living room but also heating in all floors on the 1st floor and panel heaters in the bedrooms. There is a bathroom with toilet, shower, sink and washing/drying machine. And a half bathroom with toilet and sink. There is also a slightly exotic, traditional double-outdoor toilet in the barn if you want it a little more Spartan :) It belongs to a brewery house with kitchen and 2 large living rooms including an attic room that is not insulated - can access this as desired, but this is more to look at as a curiosity than full-fledged living rooms. Outside there is a fire pan and electric grill if you wish to use it. The barn and hen house are only for storage of things at the moment and not for everyday use. The property offers sun from early morning to early evening, with a lovely view of the hills and the fields below the house - here you can also often see deer and moose in the morning hours. The place is perfect for recharging your batteries and getting a resting heart rate without being chased from everyday life. Sit on the small porch with a cup of coffee and enjoy the place, the view and the atmosphere. Guest access Main house and possibly brewery house on demand. Other things to note Sights nearby: Hellefoss - a large waterfall with salmon fishing in Hokksund 7 min away from the farm. Blaafarveværket: a fantastic place with farm animals, art exhibitions, waterfall/river and beautiful buildings and outdoor areas from the time when cobalt was extracted for the production of blue glass. There are free concerts (classical) every Sunday at 2 pm (check the website for the program) Fossesholm: venerable manor with exhibitions and interesting tours of the buildings, small cafe and beautiful surroundings (Vestfossen) Eikern: lake for swimming, boating, beaches (freshwater) Nearest stores: Bunnpris Skotselv, Kiwi Bråtabakken Hokksund (both about 3 km away) Motor History Museum: exhibition and events with vintage cars, Wednesdays are a day of regular activity, check the program on the website
