Home in Shaftsbury

My home is a renovated one room school house built in the late 1800's, on a country road just outside the Village of North Bennington. It's an easy walk into the village, to restaurants, Lake Paran and the historic Park McCullough House with gardens and miles of walking trails. For those that love to bike the back roads of Vermont, I am on the VTXL route. My house is close to Bennington College, 5 miles to Bennington and a 30 minute drive to Manchester or Williamstown, MA. The space My home was originally a one room schoolhouse and was renovated in the 1960's into a residence. It is comfortably furnished. The 2 guest rooms are located on the first floor. (This is not a full house rental--it is one or two bedrooms in my home and I will on most occasions also be there.) Both bedrooms have a full size bed (brand new mattresses). The guests have full access to the living/dining and kitchen areas. Cable TV is available in the living room and wi-fi throughout the house. The full bathroom is located next to the bedrooms and is designated for guest use. I am charging $90 for the first guest and then an extra $30 per guest for up to 3 additional guests. I only book one party at a time--so if you are a one person or a four person party--you will be my only guests on the dates that you book. Guest access Guests are welcome to prepare simple meals in my kitchen. Coffee and tea are on the house! You may also use the front porch with seating and a hammock or the yard which has a picnic table and a fire pit. During your stay I am happy to share info about all the wonderful things to do in this area and I will also check in with you to make sure everything is going ok. Other things to note I have one cat--she is very mild mannered and will probably be social for a few minutes when you come. Other than that--you may not see her very much.
