Manorview B&B
Description
Manorview B&B is a family run bed and breakfast, 5 minutes from Cookstown, just off the A505. We provide spacious and modern accommodation where guests can enjoy relaxing in the comfortable lounge or in the large garden with views of Drum Manor and the Sperrin Mountains. Our B&B is quiet and peaceful, ideal for a quiet retreat yet centrally located, perfect for taking in the beautiful scenery, cycling and walking trails, archaeological, historical and heritage sites Mid Ulster has to offer. The space Our Double-Ensuite-Room is known as the Sperrins Room as it looks out towards the Sperrin Mountains. It has a comfortable king-size bed, flat screen TV, tea and coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. It is fitted out with ample drawers and wardrobe space to hold all your needs as well as a dressing table/desk. The modern ensuite has a bath with a power shower over it. During your stay My name is Anne. I am happily married to Willie and have three grown up sons, any of whom you could meet during your stay at Manorview. I love cooking but especially baking and you will usually find my homemade shortbread or flakemeal biscuits on the teatray in your room. When time allows I enjoy different crafts including patchwork, knitting and crocheting but probably my favourite pastime is walking whether that is in Drum Manor Forest Park which is beside us or in Cookstown itself. Drum Manor is always beautiful but especially so for an early morning walk or on a late summer evening. It is stunning when the bluebells are out. Cookstown has lots of coffee shops and eateries but at Christmas is excels itself. It really is one of the most beautifully decorated towns in Northern Ireland. Owning a Bed and Breakfast was something I always wanted to do and in 2003 the opportunity presented itself. My husband designed and supervised the building of an extension to our home and in 2004 Manorview B&B opened. I enjoy meeting people from all walks of life and have built up many friendships over our years in business. It is hard work but a very rewarding way of life.
