Welcome to Ketaki Homestay- your serene abode! Explore the beauty of the idyllic Santiniketan from our petite villa along the banks of the gentle gurgling Kopai river. The community has plenty of greens , lush yellow mustard fields & adorable cantering cattle that gives a glimpse of quaint village life & rejuvenates you, while providing modern amenities of a housing estate. The place is well situated, just a few kms away from popular sightseeing destinations, yet away from bustle of big towns. The space The house consists of 2 floors, 1 front lawn and a back lawn/patio, all of which is for guest use. Ground floor :- Large living area (convertible to a room by drawing the curtains) with wifi, TV and basic entertainment equipment like books, indoor games, guitar to help you spend your time enjoyably. A large sofa-cum bed is provided that permits 2-3 people to sleep comfortably. Please ask our caretaker to help show you how to extend it/ set it up if required. Kitchenette with various essential cooking equipment and facilities like electric kettle, induction stovetop, sandwich/toast maker, microwave, tea tray etc. A dining table that can seat upto 4 (sufficient seating area in living room already available). Complimentary drinking water available (extra available on request). 1 bathroom with all essential amenities. 1st Floor :- Consists of 2 bedrooms, each with a king bed that can accomodate 2-3 people comfortably, a basic wardrobe, mirror and foldable work desk. Please do not place anything heavy on the workdesk as it meant for writing/laptops. Upto 2 extra single makeshift mattress beds are available if required. A balcony/patio attached to the east facing bedroom lets you enjoy the morning sunrays. Use the plastic foldable stools provided to spend a quiet time listening to birds chirping. There is an open terrace veranda too. Clothes drying racks provided. 1 large bathroom with all essential amenities. The front lawn has a personal parking space (additional parking might be available on request). The back lawn/patio can be used to spend some quiet time amongst nature. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the whole house along with the lawns, maintaining the rules. They can also visit the housing complex common areas like sitting areas/gazebo, gardens & walkways. A private parking area is provided. Additional parking in the premises might be available on request. Other things to note Please note that this is situated in a tranquil housing community and playing loud music/untoward noisy gatherings in the lawns isn't permitted to avoid disturbing other guests/ residents. Additionally, quiet hours start from 9 pm till 8 am. We are currently not permitting unaccompanied senior citizens for precautionary safety measures. Please ensure senior citizen guests are appropriately accompanied/attended to at all times during the stay. Please refrain from smoking on the bed/sofa and closed indoors. Please use the balcony/back lawn/patio for smoking and also make use of the ashtray provided. Our caretaker is available from 9am - 9 pm (and can be called incase of help with any emergencies). A housekeeper is also available for basic house cleaning everyday from 9 am -10 am (timings may slightly vary based on availability or guest request). Driver accommodation may be available at Prantik(3.5km) / in Deeshari Abokash housing estate itself, at prior request (additional charges apply). For help with local transport facilities like car/totos , please let us know for recommendations (charges apply). Food delivery apps like Swiggy/Zomato are available for ordering from nearby restaurants of your choice. Moreover, we can recommend local restaurants to you for dine-outs/ direct deliveries.
