Tulsi House - En-suite Double Room Near Border

The Tulsi House En-suite Studio is our simple double room at Tulsi House, set on our quiet eco homestead near Corozal. It’s ideal for couples or solo travellers wanting a peaceful nature stay with a bit more privacy, including an indoor ensuite bathroom. You’ll be surrounded by jungle and gardens, with easy access to Corozal (15–20 mins) and the Mexico border (~30 mins). The shared covered kitchen is just outside, with space to cook and relax. The space We’re a family-run eco homestead set down a long dirt road, surrounded by jungle and neighbouring farms, with very few people nearby. The land is lush and “jungly”, with plenty growing—papaya, pineapple, calabash, ginger, turmeric, sweet potatoes, peppers, and a mix of herbs and spices (including cinnamon and allspice). You’re welcome to wander the gardens and open spaces, relax in a hammock, and enjoy the rhythms of the homestead. We also keep dogs and cats on site, and we have lots of chickens—so mornings often start with birdsong and farm sounds. If you’re curious, we’re happy to show you around: we offer free farm tours where you can see what we’re growing and learn how our honey is produced. Our handmade products (honey, hot sauce, creams, shampoos) are also available to buy during your stay. Guest access Private room with locking door, double bed (bedding provided), en-suite bathroom with toilet and cold water shower, fan, solar electricity and Wi-Fi. Shared facilities: a spacious covered open-air kitchen/dining area with 4-hob stove + oven, kettle, cookware, dishes and drinking water. Tea/coffee/sugar/milk provided. No guest fridge, but guests may use the fridge in our house. Free parking. Google pin provided. Other things to note Cold-water shower (no hot water). Solar power is strongest in the daytime and more limited at night (lights/charging still possible). Wi-Fi is usually good for calls, but occasional outages can happen outside our control. Nature-first stay: insects/spiders are common; scorpions/snakes are possible. Dogs, cats and many chickens live on site, and mornings can be lively. No alcohol on site. No smoking. No parties/events.
