The space Outside, an ancient oak tree — home to a charming owlery — watches over the space. Guests have their own entrance and can enjoy the tranquillity of the garden while still being just a short walk or drive from Lymington’s town centre, train station, New Forest trails, and the beautiful Solent coast. You’ll have electricity, heating, running water, and essentials such as fresh linens, towels, tea/coffee facilities, and Wi-Fi. With both countryside and seaside on your doorstep, The Hoot Hut is the perfect base for exploring all the New Forest has to offer. Free use of hot tub - please confirm if you may want to use it. Free use of gas BBQ. Plates, cutlery, tongs, utensils, etc. can be provided and washed for a small fee of £3.50 per day to cover costs. A large selection of Board games is also available on request. Guest access Guests have exclusive use of The Hoot Hut and its private ensuite bathroom. You’ll have your own entrance accessed through the garden of Acorns Reach, with easy access at all hours. Parking is available on the road outside and the cabin is just a short walk or drive to Lymington town centre, train station, the New Forest, and the coast. While the garden is shared with our home, your space is self-contained for privacy and comfort. During your stay We respect your privacy but are always happy to help if you need anything during your stay. We live in the main house at Acorns Reach, so we’re usually nearby to answer questions, share local tips, or recommend our favourite New Forest walks, pubs, and coastal spots. If you’d prefer a completely self-sufficient stay, that’s absolutely fine too — check-in and check-out can be contactless. Other things to note We hope you enjoy your stay in our little corner of the New Forest. This is a non-smoking property. Our friendly Tibetan Terrier may welcome you and occasionally say hello! Please note the family does use the gardens. Not suitable for guests with mobility issues, as there are a couple of steps to get down the garden and up into the cabin. A Stand-Up Paddleboard is available for £50 per day. Includes board, paddles, leash, and pump, all neatly packed in a large carry bag. When you’re done, just hand it back — we’ll take care of the cleaning for you.
