Lovely cosy self-contained annexe with its own sunny courtyard garden, situated in the market town of Petersfield in the South Downs National Park. Centrally located with off road parking. 20 minute flat walk to the mainline station. Flexible accommodation suitable for couples, small families and friends. And dogs! Petersfield is full of charm with independent shops and lots of places to eat and drink. The perfect base for local event venues, or a relaxing getaway. The space Spacious bedsit with private entrance and its own large outdoor area. This bright and comfortable bedsit offers a Super King bed, with the option to convert to two singles on request. There’s also space for a travel cot and foldaway bed (plus linen), which can be provided with advance notice. Well behaved dogs are welcome and the courtyard is securely fenced. The well-equipped kitchen includes an air fryer and coffee pod machine, with complimentary tea, coffee, and a small selection of coffee pods. The bathroom features a generous shower, and towelling bathrobes are provided for your comfort. Underfloor heating and a cosy electric coal-effect fire keep the space warm in winter, while in spring and summer the French windows open onto a large, sunlit courtyard with a raised wildflower terrace. An outdoor table and chairs and parasol are provided, as well as a bench which is perfect for catching the evening sun in the summer. When the sun goes down there is a Kadai firepit with some wood and charcoal supplied. The firepit has a cooking grill for those feeling adventurous. Relax in bed and enjoy the 55-inch Smart TV with access to popular streaming apps using your own log in details. Petersfield is an ideal base whatever your plans. As well as nearby event venues, the town and surrounding area are full of characterful, dog-friendly pubs, restaurants, and cafés. You’ll also find a wealth of local attractions, historic towns, and beautiful countryside walks; and longer trails for the adventurous. The Petersfield Heath and lake are directly across the road, perfect for a stroll and a cup of coffee at The Plump Duck, the lake café which overlooks the water and all the ducks and swans. Guest access Self check in and out with a key box. The property is private with its own front door and dedicated outdoor space. Please note that the entrance gate to the side of the house and the immediate passage is shared with the flat upstairs. There is an outside power outlet. You are welcome to charge EV's but you will need to bring your own cable of not less than 25 metres. Other things to note Please don't leave your dog(s) unattended at the property We supply quick drying microfleece dog towels, and also two large microfleece blankets to protect the bedding because we know jolly well that dogs like to share a cosy bed. The Petersfield Heath is directly opposite the house and perfect for local dog walks. Further afield there are many more walks. Please note that our airbnb is part of a working house and there will be the consequent noise transference including other dogs, visiting grandchilden and voices from the garden. Periodic footsteps will be heard from both the fire escape and the stairs in the main property. The flat at the top of the house shares the same access at the side of the house; otherwise the courtyard is entirely for your own use.
