Small Thoroughbred Race Horse Farm on a beautiful lake. The dock has plenty of benches for fishing, picnicking, or just dreaming. There is a Swimming pool right out your door. Please note there is no barrier around pool and all children (anyone under age of 18)must be supervised at all times. Guests must swim at their own risk. You may see horses in the paddocks. The pool deck overlooks the lake for hanging out or quiet time. Please note price is for studio (sleeps 3 or more with sofa beds) The space Depending on when guests arrive, they may be able to see horses training in the morning or may enjoy helping feed the animals. The studio, which sleeps three …double bed and top single bunk is 125.00 a night. There are also two sofas which could sleep guests in the studio. The studio is a large room. This area has its own entrance off the pool deck. The bathroom is private to the studio. There is a TV, microwave, fridge etc...all you need to cook and serve meals. The area round the home is quiet (Except for chickens clucking and maybe roosters crowing) and one may stroll around the farm and meet the animals. You are welcome to go and fish on the new dock or dive into the lake if you’re adventurous! The farm is down a semi country road with homes on different size properties. There are wonderful animals to meet and greet. If roosters crowing early in the morning are an issue, bring ear plugs. We can't promise that they will be quiet in the AM. Guest access Guests may wander around farm and meet horses, ponies, chickens and dog. They may go to lake and fish off the recently built dock at their own risk. The pool is right off the studio so a morning swim is a great way to start the day! Fresh eggs may be had if the hens are laying.Children love to look for the eggs. Other things to note Remember we are in the country and have friendly little lizards that dart into the house on occasion. Sometimes the frogs croak around the pool at night looking for a little action. I like to leave the windows and doors open for the breezes, but don't worry we have screens. With no neighbors Lakeside, you may watch the sun rise over Eagle Lake and leave the curtains open! Please note: if you bring a dog it is necessary to have a kennel with him. I prefer he be in kennel when inside. If he is loose in room there will be an extra cleaning fee...dog hair can get on everything.
