Yenworthy Mill, Countisbury

Yenworthy Mill is a converted barn forming part of a working farm on the northern slopes of Exmoor National Park, just a few hundred yards from the coast and with views across to the Bristol Channel. The space Sleeping up to 10 guests (plus a cot), the property has four bedrooms across two levels: a double with en-suite shower room and a twin bedroom off the ground-floor corridor, plus a further twin bedroom and a family bedroom with a double bed and bunk beds upstairs, served by a family bathroom and a downstairs toilet. A cot and high chair are also available. Inside, a spacious entrance area offers room for coats and boots, leading to a large open room with a well-equipped kitchen and dining table seating ten, and a double-height sitting area with two sofas and a wood-burning stove. Steps lead up to a gallery room with three further sofas and a large television. A walk-in cupboard houses the washing machine and dryer. The kitchen includes a fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave and oven, and the living areas feature a television with Freeview, Blu-ray/DVD player and CD player. Wifi, heating and electricity are all included, with the property warmed by a biomass central heating system and the wood-burner supplied with logs and kindling. Bed linen and towels are provided throughout. Outside, a pretty raised lawned garden sits to the side of the property with mature shrubs, outside seating, a picnic bench enjoying views over farmland to the coast, and a charcoal barbecue for guest use. The property has direct access to the South West Coast Path and 13 miles of footpaths across the farm. Private parking is available for up to three cars, with a short path leading to the front door. Dogs are welcome by prior arrangement, maximum three, for a supplement of GBP 15 per dog, though guests are asked to keep dogs under control given the working farm setting, off furniture and upstairs, and not left alone in the property.
