Field tent 'Field sleep'

Our field tent is located in the fields of Strackxhoeve. Are you in the mood for a camping experience on the farm? Then you can spend the night in our field tent "Veldslaap"! Our field tent is spacious and cozy, and has a lovely outdoor terrace to enjoy the view of the field. In our tent, there is a comfortable double bed. There are 2 extra mattresses provided so that you can also stay overnight with 4 people in the tent. The space Stay overnight at regenerative community farm Strackxhoeve, a beautiful place in the countryside, between our fresh vegetables in the field and our newly planted fruit trees. Nearby you can cycle or hike in the Merode forests, and visit the Abbey of Averbode. Or just stay here on the farm, enjoying our soothing paradise on the Rode Laak. Guest access Our guests can use our outdoor kitchen and enjoy cooking with a view of the field! On Wednesdays, you can visit our farm shop for delicious vegetables straight from the field, or meat from the Bolhuis freezer. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, the surplus produce from the harvest is also available in the shop via an honesty box especially for our guests. From May to September, we organise a field dinner every Friday and a neighbourhood kitchen every Saturday, where you can join us at the table and enjoy yourself! The cooking team then conjures up a delicious meal with vegetables straight from the field. If you stay overnight on a Saturday from May to September, you can take part in the neighbourhood kitchen as a guest with a discount!
