Aperanti Coliving -Sgartili room

In the autumn & winter our Agrotourism becomes a unique coliving place, where long-term travelers, remote workers and world explorers come to live under the same roof. You may join us in making cheese or cooking traditional recipes or harvest olives and produce organic olive oil. We will go hiking in our beautiful mountains and explore hidden gems of Cyprus. Joining our coliving will give you the unique chance to live in Cyprus like a locals while creating a community of like-minded people. ​ The space Our Agrotourism is a renovated traditional stone-built house located in the picturesque village of Pera Orinis, nestled in the foothills of the Machairas mountains. Despite its quiet location it is only a 30-minute drive (or 45-minute bus ride) from the city center of the capital Nicosia. We operate as an agrotourism for most of the months, but in the autumn/winter months we become a coliving place for people who would like to live with us as a community. Guests will have their own room (with private bathroom) but will share common areas (Kitchen, dining/working area, recreational sitting area, sitting area in the yard). Our price includes high-speed Wi-Fi, electricity, water bills, underfloor heating, weekly cleaning of rooms and common areas, linen, and towels, on site activities that you may decide to join (such as cheese making, cooking lessons, foraging, bread making) and organic fruits you are welcome to collect in our fields. We will also organise a weekly communal meeting and some communal meals from time to time (at a share cost) but our guests are welcome to do so more often to keep their costs down and the community spirit up. NOT INCLUDED: meals and drinks (unless part of a cooking lesson), laundry service (we do not have a washing machine on site but we can do weekly laundry for you at 8 euros per load), car rental (maybe it may a good idea for the group to rent a car for shared use so that it is available when people have some free time- to be discussed with the group)- although it is possible to stay here without the need of a car. Sgartili is a double room (15 m²) located at the ground floor fitted with wooden furniture, beamed ceilings and stone flooring. The private bathroom (with shower) is inside the room. Bed size: 1 double bed Guest access Private room and all communal areas (kitchen, dining area & working space, recreational space, central yard with sitting area) During your stay We will be the coliving facilitators. We will run weekly meetings, we will run organise weekly activities together with the help of the colivers (our activities are co-created), we will facilitate communal dinners and we will provide our precious knowledge of the island.
