SHIOKAZE is a private, whole-house vacation rental that opened in November 2025. You will have the entire property to yourself, ensuring complete privacy for your stay. The house is located just 4 minutes on foot from Keikyu Miura-Kaigan Station, offering excellent access and convenience. It is a detached house with a maximum capacity of 9 guests, with 4–9 guests being the most comfortable group size. 🚗 Parking One parking space is available on the property (1 car). The space This house is a renovated traditional Japanese home, originally built about 50 years ago. While modern comforts have been added, we have carefully preserved the charm and atmosphere of a classic Japanese residence. About the Property Although we take thorough preventive measures, this is an older house. There is a possibility of insects appearing. If you are sensitive to insects, we recommend not booking this property. The stairs have an open-step design. If you are staying with small children, please be aware of the risk of falls or slipping through gaps. Children must always be supervised by an adult. Guest Registration (Required by Japanese Law) To simplify the guest registration process, please send the following information in advance via Airbnb message: Full name Home address Passport number (for guests from overseas) Occupation Age Guests arriving from overseas are also required to send photos of all passports. This is mandatory under Japanese government regulations. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. House Rules 👞 No shoes inside the house 🚭 Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the property and anywhere on the premises. If smoking is detected, including cigarettes, e-cigarettes, or heated tobacco products, a special cleaning and deodorization fee of approximately JPY 300,000 (based on professional cleaning company rates) will be charged. Please note that additional actual costs may also be charged separately in cases requiring wallpaper replacement, furniture or fixture replacement, or compensation for business interruption. 🎉 No parties or events 🐶 No pets allowed (Service animals must be declared in advance) As this is a residential neighborhood, please keep noise to a minimum after 9:00 PM. Damages & Additional Fees If any furniture, equipment, or amenities are damaged, please notify us immediately. Repair or replacement costs may be charged after confirmation. If the key is lost, the cost of replacing the lock may be charged for security reasons. Please handle the key with care. Bed linens and towels are not replaced during your stay. Please use the washing machine and dryer provided if needed. In cases of vomiting, smoking indoors, or excessive soiling, a special cleaning fee may be charged. (Normal use is not an issue.) Security Camera & Occupancy In accordance with local health authority rules, a security camera is installed at the entrance area to confirm the number of guests. There are no cameras inside the living spaces. If the number of guests exceeds the number on the reservation without permission, an additional fee of ¥30,000 per person per night will be charged. Early check-in and late check-out are also confirmed via the entrance camera. If used without prior approval, one additional night’s fee will be charged. Please contact us in advance if you wish to request this (additional fees apply). Garbage & Refund Policy Please separate garbage according to the labels on the trash bins.
