Lovely ranch home tucked back in the woods with the closest residential proximity to mountain biking and hiking trails you can get! You will have this entire home to spend relaxing and exploring Carvins Cove Nature Preserve, the Appalachian Trail, McAfee Knob, Dragons Tooth and many other iconic Virginia trails and outdoor destinations. Less than 20 minutes to downtown Roanoke and 50 minutes to Virginia Tech means that you can have the best of everything in the New River and Roanoke Valley. The house offers amazing indoor and outdoor space with an entire shed for all of your outdoor gear to be stored safely. Outdoor bike washing station will be available along with a massive deck to relax on during the times when you're not exploring the trails. Private parking and distant neighbors is also a perk to this location. Guest will be able to access the entire home with the exception of the owners closet . We do not live on the property but will be available at minimal notice and are frequently nearby the house or working around the property. One of the closest rental locations to Carvins Cove, McAfee Knob, Dragons Tooth, Dragons Back, the Appalachian Trail and other really amazing SouthWest Virginia Hikes. Only 10 minutes off of I81 which lead to easy accessibility to both the Roanoke Valley and New River Valley. Trail maps will be provided at the rental. There is no WiFi at the house. We are unable to find a reliable carrier to provide service due to the location of our home. While we would love to provide our guests with internet service, it is simply not a viable option at this time. Cell phone service is also spotty. Our home is in the woods and outfitted for guests to be outside adventuring in the nature preserve and exploring the trails. We understand the convenience and normalcy of having WiFi and cell phone service, but there is nothing that we can do obtain these features at this time. We have put in a cell phone booster in the house which works with all carriers and will generally allow for texting and limited calls while inside the common areas of the dining and living rooms.
