The space Our cabin is an open, bright space full of history – once a bee house, later the mayor’s office for 25 years. Now lovingly renovated into a cozy forest retreat. There’s a double bed and a bunk bed side by side, both with quality mattresses for a great night’s sleep. A baby travel cot is available upon request. And yes, your furry friend is welcome too – we even have a dog bed! Sunlight fills the room, but blackout curtains allow for deep rest. On cooler days, the fireplace adds warmth and comfort. Everything was renovated with love – though not perfectly: the shower doors don’t close completely, so a bit of water may escape. But that’s part of the charm! Guest access The cabin's entrance is completely private. Parking is included and is right in front of the house. The terrace is for exclusive use. The garden and grill are shared with us, as we live in the main house on the same property. For the grill, you'll find a case with all the necessary utensils right at the cabin's entrance. The Thüringer Wald Card – All Inclusive will be delivered once we receive the full name, date of birth, address, and ID number for each adult. This information is required because the card will be verified along with the document at each attraction. Other things to note Our cat is called Blaise and roams freely on the property. He’s very curious and might try to enter the house – please be mindful if you have allergies.
