Shazpots Retreat. Based in the peaceful village of East Farleigh in the Medway valley near Maidstone in Kent. Our one bedroom, converted log cabin, includes its own toilet/shower room, kitchen/lounge, with the use of a sofa bed it can sleep upto 3 adults or 2 adults & 2 children. Dog friendly - max 2 dogs. Secured off road parking for up to two cars, with its own dog secure garden & the use of a private, secured, dog exercise field. The use of the field is between 7am-10am & 4pm-late. The space Based only a few hundred yards from the river Medway valley with stunning views, beautiful local river and country walks with a 2+ mile footpath walk along the river Medway into Maidstone town. Local tourists destinations such as Leeds castle, vineyards, historical towns, museum, breweries, public parks, the hop farm and river cruises all within a short distance of the village. Being located in central Kent both the north and south coast of Kent are only 45mins away. Perfect location to visit this beautiful county. Fishing available on the river Medway and local lakes, more information available, cycling, ramblers, on site pottery studio where you can experience throwing a pot on Shazpots wheel. Other local activities such as golf, cricket and paddle boarding. A great choice of local pubs/restaurants within the village and dozens only 10 minutes into Maidstone centre. Other things to note On site pottery studio for one to one or small group teaching. Book to combine a retreat break combined with a pottery experience. Dog friendly and own private exercise field to use, limited to morning and evening time. Up to 10am and then from 4pm.
