Finca Maran House with pool on the roof terrace

Welcome to Finca Maran, a characteristic old Finca in the hills of the Axarquía, in the quiet hamlet of Solano. Here you can enjoy impressive views, such as the mountain village of Comares, which towers high above the landscape. The Finca is spacious, in Moorish style, stylishly decorated and has several terraces, a roof terrace and a shared swimming pool. It is the ideal place for peace seekers or families who love nature and space. Registration: VTAR/MA/04620 The space The fully furnished casa is the main house of Finca Maran, and consists of 2 living rooms, a dining room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large, well-equipped kitchen for extensive cooking. We find it important that our guests can enjoy good, clean drinking water. That’s why we installed a Phoenix water filtration system. Among other things, the filter removes chlorine and other unwanted substances from the tap water. So you can just drink the tap water here. And perhaps just as importantly: together, we are saving a lot of plastic bottles. There are air conditioners and a pellet stove for chilly evenings. Guest access All areas of the Casa are available to our guests. The terraces, the roof terrace and the (vegetable) garden are freely accessible to all guests. So is the pool, the sunbeds, and the Bali bed. There are many sunny and shady spots where you can sit wonderfully. There are also 2 BBQ places and there is a plancha available for delicious cooking. Please note: on the property is also our own home. When we are present, we of course completely respect your privacy and we are there for questions. It may be that we are at work on the property but take the guests into account. Other things to note Normal electricity consumption is included in the price. We ask guests to use energy consciously and responsibly (especially air conditioning and heating). In the event of exceptionally high consumption (e.g. long-term use of air conditioning at low temperatures or with open windows/doors), a reasonable additional contribution may be requested. This policy helps us keep the stay comfortable, sustainable, and affordable for everyone. For stays longer than 7 nights, normal energy consumption is included. As a guideline, we use approximately 8 kWh per day. In the event of structurally higher consumption, the multiple may be charged at cost price. 100 meters away, we have placed an AED, with some residents of the hamlet of Solano. We are also trained to use the AED.
