Welcome to FincaMaran, a small-scale adults-only (18+) Finca where peace, nature, the Andalusian outdoors and personal hospitality come together. Among the olive groves in the campo and gently rolling hills of Axarquia in Andalusia, northeast of Malaga, in the hamlet of Solano, you will find FincaMaran, an authentic olive farm. The finca is spacious, in Moorish style, stylishly decorated, has several terraces, a roof terrace, vegetable garden and a swimming pool. Registration: VTAR/MA/04620 The space The fully furnished casa is the main house of Finca Maran, and consists of 2 living rooms, a dining room, 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and a large, well-equipped kitchen for extensive cooking. We find it important that our guests can enjoy good, clean drinking water. That’s why we installed a Phoenix water filtration system. Among other things, the filter removes chlorine and other unwanted substances from the tap water. So you can just drink the tap water here. And perhaps just as importantly: together, we are saving a lot of plastic bottles. There are air conditioners and a pellet stove for chilly evenings. Guest access All areas of the Casa are available for our guests. The terraces, the roof terrace and the (vegetable)garden are freely accessible to all guests. So is the pool, the sunbeds, and the ball bed. There are many sun and shade spots where you can sit. There are also 2 BBQ places and there is a plancha available to cook deliciously. Please note: on the property is also our own home. When we are present, we of course completely respect your privacy and we are there for questions. We may be working on the property, but we always consider the guests. Other things to note Normal electricity consumption is included in the price. We ask guests to use energy consciously and responsibly (especially air conditioning and heating). With exceptionally high consumption (e.g. long-term use of air conditioning at low temperatures or with open windows/doors), a reasonable additional contribution may be requested. This policy helps us keep the stay comfortable, sustainable and affordable for everyone. For stays longer than 7 nights, normal energy consumption is included. As a guideline, we use approximately 10 kWh per day. In the event of structurally higher consumption, the excess can be charged at cost price of €0.30 p/kw 100 meters away, we have placed an AED, with some residents of the hamlet of Solano. We are also trained to use the AED.
