Description
Welcome to your peaceful retreat in Iqaluit’s Tundra Valley. This spacious bachelor suite is on the first floor of our oceanfront family home. It has a private entrance, private bathroom, queen bed, sitting area, dining space, and kitchenette—perfect for short or extended stays. Enjoy stunning views of Frobisher Bay through the large south-facing window that fills the space with beautiful natural light. The space You’ll be staying in the quiet and scenic neighborhood of Tundra Valley. This area provides direct access to the tundra and sea ice—perfect for those looking to explore the outdoors. Step out the front door and you’re on the Apex trail, great for hiking and soaking in panoramic views. In winter, the area transforms into a snow-covered wonderland with many snowmobile trials accessible from the house. Guest access You will have your own entrance to the suit via a door in the side of the house. The only shared feature with the main house is the laundry room, which is in the hallway leading to the suite. During your stay As the suite is located on the lower level of our house, we’re available most evenings to help with any questions or needs during your stay. We’re happy to share recommendations and ensure your time here is as comfortable and memorable as possible. If the timing works out with other life responsibilities, we might be able to take you on a short hike or have coffee/tea and a chat. Other things to note A note on house expectations This suite is best suited for guests looking for a quiet and relaxed stay. While the unit is well insulated, loud voices or loud music, or loud gatherings can travel and may disrupt our family’s sleep, at night. Quiet hours are from 10:00 pm onward No parties or events No outside guests unless previously approved We kindly ask that all guests read and respect the house rules to ensure a positive experience for everyone
