Croft house, Bettyhill, Sutherland

Our house in Bettyhill is central for touring across the Highlands of Scotland. The area is full things to see and do including, fishing on the River Naver, walking, surfing and cycling, with castles and historic places around. In summer you can enjoy the long summer evenings with daylight until after 11pm The house is located on the far North Coast of Scotland and is an ideal stop off on the NC 500 route. The space The house has stunning views overlooking Torrisdale Bay and you have peace and quiet all around you. Most evenings you can enjoy the sunset from the living room windows. It is very handy for the village centre shop and the hotel but far enough away to enjoy the peace. The hotel is just next door and they have a bar and restaurant open from Easter onwards. Downstairs there is a wood burning stove with logs supplied which keeps the kitchen and living room warm and cosy. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking and we supply all washing powder, washing up liquid etc. The 2 sofas in the main living room are new and very comfortable. Plus we have a couple of chairs in the bay window to enjoy the views. There is also a second living room equipped with board games, a dvd player and even an old pump organ that still works. You will find that you have plenty of space for everyone to relax in with views from nearly every room. Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms where you will find Egyptian cotton bedding and cosy duvets plus all the beds are fitted with electric blankets for the colder nights. We supply everything that you need for a relaxing stay to get away from it all whilst exploring this very scenic part of the country. Guest access The whole house is available; 3 bedrooms, 2 living rooms, large fully equipped kitchen with stove and 1 bathroom. There is parking for 1 or 2 cars and a small garden area.
