Na Staré Pekárně Cottage – Rychlebské Mountains

You will find the Na Staré pekárně cottage in the village of Vlčice, in the Jeseník district, in the Rychlebské hory tourist area. This comfortable accommodation, which was renovated in 2019 and which we are constantly improving, is suitable for both couples and families with children. The accommodation is available in four cozily furnished rooms. The cottage has its own entrance, parking, a pergola with barbecue facilities, and a large garden with a series of flower and herb rockeries. The space Cycling enthusiasts can take advantage of bicycle storage. The cottage has a fully equipped new kitchen with a dining area, a living room with the option of 4 extra beds, and three additional rooms with eight beds. Basic bathroom amenities include a bathroom with a shower or a bathtub, and a toilet. It is commonplace that the living room has a satellite TV, comfortable furniture, and free wireless internet access. Car parking is available to drivers for free right next to the property. No pets allowed. A child under 3 years old has a free place to stay, including all fees. In our beautiful location, you will perfectly forget the worries of everyday life and enjoy the peace in the heart of the beautiful nature of the Rychlebské Mountains, where forests in the area attract mushroom picking, collecting berries, relaxing and taking walks in the fresh air. The landmark of the village is the building of the Renaissance chateau. For summer trips around the area to Javornicka, the Jánský vrch castle, the ruins of the Rychleby Castle, the dance hall in Račí Valley, among other things, attract the castle's ruins. For more physically fit, there is the possibility of a hike to the lookout tower on Borůvková hora, from where there is an excellent view not only of Rychleby, but also to the Nyská and Otmuchovo lakes in nearby Poland, and with good visibility it is possible to see the peak of the highest Czech mountain Sněžka. On Žulov region you can visit Venus bowls, Nýznerov waterfalls and in recent years very sought after fast bike paths around the village of Černá Voda. From Žulovsko in the direction of Jeseník, you will pass by the frequently visited stalactite caves of Na Pomezí, another Cave Na Špičáku can be found between the villages of Písečná and Supíkovice. In Jeseník or its nearby surroundings, you can visit Priessnitz's medical spa, Schrotha therapeutic spa, the Jeseník Water Fortress and the hikes are attracted by the Golden Chlum lookout tower, Cross Hill, Devil's Stones or Mech Pond on Rejvíz. Further from Jeseník there is the highest peak of the Jeseníky Praděd or Karlova Studánka - in the area with the cleanest air in the Czech Republic, which is comparable to the alpine environment, or the water-pumping hydroelectric power plant Dlouhé obně. Winter fun in our location is inherently downhill skiing, which can be operated on ski areas about 20 km away in the village Lipová-lázně, Ramzová, Ostružná, Branná or in the modern ski area in Kouty nad Desnou. Here, fast and comfortable transportation is provided by the ŠESTI-SEDAČKOVO CABLE CAR. The cable car is 2000 m long, the bottom station is in 588 m above sea level and leads to the top of the Bear ski slope up to 1095 m above sea level. Followers of white tracks will not always be missed by well-groomed cross-country trails with a lot of possibilities for circuits from Petříkov, e.g. to Rayrsek, Šerák, Smrk, Travnou hora, etc. Guest access We are currently expanding the cottage to include an outdoor wellness area, where you will find a so-called hot tub with a whirlpool and backlighting, as well as a Finnish sauna and a cooling shower. Prices for wellness services are available upon request and are customized based on the number of guests and the scope of use. For the 2026 summer season, we are already preparing additional capacity to provide accommodations for a total of 22 guests on both floors of the cottage.
