Guest access 🌿During your stay, you’ll have exclusive use of 3 bedrooms, bathroom, lounge/TV room, kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry — plenty of space to relax and feel at home. You are invited to take a stroll through the garden and down to the dam — affectionately known as The Lake. It's a tranquil spot, perfect for a quiet moment of reflection and for watching some wildlife. On the far side of the lake, you might meet our neighbour’s friendly horse, who’s always happy to nibble on a carrot or two. 🔒 Please note: There will be no guest access to a few cupboards and to the front section of the house, though it will be unoccupied during your stay. Other things to note 😎 The house and verandas—especially the back veranda—are not childproofed and you will need to take extra care. If you’re bringing young children, please let me know in advance. We can provide a cot, high chair or booster seat, and even some toys to help make your stay more comfortable. 😎 For insurance purposes, only registered guests are allowed on the property. All visitors need to be approved, even if they’re not staying overnight. 😎 We live in a quiet, family-friendly neighbourhood. If you're planning to party, the CBD is a great place for that instead. 😎 We’re located just a 10-minute drive from the Gunnedah CBD. It’s a fantastic spot—some guests prefer it over staying in town. 😎 For your safety, security cameras are installed at the front and driveway areas of the property. 🦎🦊 Wildlife & Nature You might be lucky enough to spot a kangaroo or fox playing in the backyard early in the morning, followed by ducks and a variety of birds throughout the day. On warm evenings, you’ll likely see geckos around the outside of the house (and possibly inside if the doors are left open!). We like them—they help keep the insect population down. You might also see a small, shy lizard in the yard if you look closely.
