One hour with a speed passenger ferry from Strandkaiterminalen, Bergen. Or from Flesland Airport, 15 min bus/taxi to Flesland port, and 40 min. to Møkster. The flat is situated a 15-minute walk from the Møkster harbour, 1.2 km. There is a good modern grocery store at the harbour. The space The house is situated on the small island of Møkster. A flat with a spectacular view: Private and cozy apartment for rent on this charming island close to Bergen and Flesland airport. Out of the big windows, you see the fjord and the mountains. On a clear day, you can even spot the glacier. Amazing trails by the ocean start 1 minute away. The great terrace (15 m2 and 50 m2) with a panoramic fjord view is all yours during the stay. The living room has a spectacular view over the fjord. The kitchen is fully equipped. There is a large tiled bathroom, and you can sit in the bathtub looking out over the fjord. Apart from ordinary equipment, there is a washing machine in the bathroom. The house was built in 2007, so everything is in good shape. The two bedrooms have double beds and are prepared with linen upon arrival. Basic toilet articles such as towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper are included. We will provide you with some basic food items, including butter, jam, tea, coffee, and various spices. Also, some flour and sugar. There will also be some half-baked rolls in the freezer for your first breakfast. The island is a hidden pearl. So, if you wish to escape the tourist mainstream of Bergen City, this is it. You can easily get here from Bergen Center and Flesland Airport. No need for a car. About one hour by speed passenger ferry from Bergen Center, and 40 minutes from Flesland Harbour. The flat is situated a 15-20 minute walk from the Møkster harbour. The beach is 15 minutes away, the best fishing spot, and the playground with a football court is 3 minutes away (everything on foot). The flat is 90m2 and suits 2-4 people. You won't find a more peaceful nature and stunning beauty this close to Norway's 2nd largest town. The chance is great to see porpoises (small dark gray whales) swimming past or watch eagles fly by. We normally meet you at Møkster harbour and walk with you to the house. If you want to leave on a Saturday, there is only one boat for Bergen, leaving in the morning at 08.55. Other things to note Some single Saturdays are blocked in the summertime due to concerts on the island. We will not allow partying young people to book these days. If you are interested in any of these days, send us a request and we will consider opening them. Please note that the Airbnb calendar sometimes starts the week on Sunday, in which case the weekend will not be the last three days on the calendar. Please check the dates when you make a reservation. There is a good grocery store at the harbour. Open a few hours every day. Sundays are closed off-season. A pub and an excellent restaurant are open daily in midsummer, but closed from late August until late spring. If you want to leave on a Saturday, there is only one direct boat for Bergen, which departs in the morning at 08.55.
