Welcome to The Country View Annex – a romantic, modern stone retreat for two, set in the rolling Radnorshire hills. This brand-new, open-plan hideaway has been designed with couples in mind, combining contemporary luxury with stunning countryside views. From the moment you step inside, you’ll find a perfect blend of comfort, elegance, and light-filled space. The space Highlights you’ll love: A super king bed beneath the vaulted apex roof, perfectly positioned for sunrise views or stargazing under the Radnorshire sky. A hanging egg chair to sink into while soaking up unspoilt hill views. A deep bath for long soaks and a jet-powered massage shower for spa-like relaxation. A champagne breakfast bar and a large, luxurious sofa for evenings spent cuddled up (cwtching in true Welsh style). A cosy reading nook, perfect for curling up with a book or sharing quiet moments together. Large patio doors leading to the terrace, ideal for morning coffee, alfresco dining, or sunset drinks with uninterrupted countryside views. We have a large 75 inch HD television in the living area where you can log into your own streaming accounts. Flooded with natural light, with space that brings the outside in. Step outside and enjoy picturesque hill walks from your door, with fresh air, open skies, and sweeping views. Just a short stroll away, a welcoming country pub serves hearty food and local ales. At the smallholding, our friendly horse grazes nearby and our ducks roam freely, adding a touch of rural charm and connection to nature. Step outside to enjoy countryside walks right from your doorstep into the Radnorshire hills, or take a short drive to explore: Royal Welsh Showground in Builth Wells – just 7 miles away, ideal for visitors attending events. Local country pub Hundred House Inn – only a 1-mile walk, serving hearty cooked meals and local ales. Booking advisable. There is also The White Horse, Builth Wells, The Forest Inn, New Radnor, Fabian’s Kitchen - Llandrindod Wells. For country walks and hikes. Beautiful waterfall - ‘Water Breaks its neck’ is a 10 minute drive away. The Elan Valley dams – 22 miles Brecon Beacons National Park – 32 miles Snowdonia National Park – 80 miles The Welsh Three Peaks (Yr Wyddfa/Snowdon, Cader Idris, Pen y Fan) – perfect for hiking enthusiasts. For that extra relaxation we have the pleasure of the wonderful Aggie massage therapist who will carry out treatments in the relaxing location so ensure you really make the most of that uninterrupted country views and unwind. Early booking advisable. If your wanting to get creative there is the Bluebird Pottery studio less than a five minute walk away. Strictly no pets due to our livestock. Guest access Full use of Country View Annexe with a private garden. Other things to note There is a kitchen in the annexe. There is no oven. There is a hob, kettle, toaster, microwave and double ninja air fryer. There is no EVC at the property and we do not permit charging of electric vehicles. There are charging points in the local towns Builth Wells and Llandrindod Wells.
