The space A place to breathe – The Design Country House under Reet BunnyHuus on the Oste Hidden on the dike of the Oste in Cuxland is a special gem: the BunnyHuus vacation home, a lovingly restored gem with history. Built in 1764, the house tells the story of life in past centuries – and today uniquely combines historical charm with modern, nature-oriented design. Since February 2022, the house has been completely renovated with great care and a fine sense of quality. Only high-quality, natural building materials were used. Everything feels warm and grounded. Every room breathes tranquility, clarity and attention to detail. It has become a retreat for people who are looking for the real thing. Directly on the dyke of the Oste, a tributary of the Elbe, the house is embedded in nature. The large pasture with horses borders the property – often you can watch them from the window as they graze peacefully or doze in the sun. Depending on the season, sheep also join them on the dike – a lively landscape that invites you to dream. Here, where the river tells stories and the wind blows through the old trees, you will find an oasis of tranquility. Ideal for nature lovers, animal lovers and anyone who just wants to switch off.
