All four separate bedrooms are upstairs, reached by a steep staircase with a handrail. There are two entrance steps; the house is not step-free. The box-spring beds measure 180 × 200 cm, 140 × 200 cm and two of 160 × 200 cm. Each bedroom has a 43-inch Smart TV; two bedrooms also have a desk. Linen for the regular beds and hand and bath towels are included. GROUND FLOOR AND KITCHEN Open-plan living and dining area with a green corduroy sofa, dining bench, extendable table for eight, 55-inch Smart TV and a working electric fireplace. The table is normally set up unextended; additional chairs are stored in the adjoining storage room. Kitchen with Siemens induction hob, Bosch pyrolytic oven, Bosch dishwasher, LG fridge-freezer, microwave, bean-to-cup coffee machine, Krups kettle, SodaStream and cookware. Plates, glasses, cutlery and kitchen utensils are generously stocked for eight guests, rather than just one set per person, so you do not need to wash up immediately after a meal. Coffee beans, sugar, salt, pepper, small snacks and drinks are provided free as a starter supply on arrival. Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and on the terrace. BATHROOMS AND INFRARED Two bathrooms with windows and walk-in showers, plus a separate WC. The ground-floor bathroom has a private infrared cabin, not a traditional Finnish sauna. Use is included at no extra charge. TERRACE, PARKING AND STORAGE Terrace and courtyard with outdoor kitchen, electric grill and sink. One private parking space is directly in front of the gate. Public parking for additional cars is available nearby, without a space guarantee. The secured storage room accommodates bicycles, e-bikes, pushchairs or luggage; e-bike charging is available. Washer, dryer and ironing equipment are provided. WITH CHILDREN Two travel cots with mattresses are provided free; please bring your own travel-cot linen. A high chair, children’s tableware, toys and stair gates are available. A second high chair can be arranged when needed, by prior agreement. LOCATION Mainz-Hechtsheim. Am Schinnergraben tram stop is approximately 220 m away; a grocery shop approximately 280 m away. Distances are approximate; journey times depend on traffic and timetables. Guest access The entire holiday home is available exclusively to guests during their stay. The legal basis is the “Satzung über die Erhebung einer Beherbergungsabgabe in der Landeshauptstadt Mainz (Beherbergungsabgabensatzung)” — the Statute on the Collection of an Accommodation Tax in the State Capital Mainz. The tax is calculated per guest and per overnight stay and depends on the accommodation charge attributable to each guest per night.
