Kumamoto Panda Base Shinmachi is a private house near Kumamoto Castle in the historic Shinmachi area. Only one group per day (up to 8 guests). Great access to downtown and local restaurants. Layout: Two-story, 85㎡ house for up to 8 guests. – LDK with dining area, sofa, and TV – 4 bedrooms: 1F: 1 semi-double bed, sofa, TV 2F: • Room 2: 2 single beds + 1 futon • Room 3: 1 single bed + 1 futon • Room 4: 2 single beds – Free high-speed Wi-Fi, A/C in all rooms – No smoking indoors (smoking area outside) Other Spaces: – Kitchen with IH stove, microwave, fridge, rice cooker, kettle, dishes, wine glasses – TOSHIBA washer-dryer for long stays – Smart lock for contactless self check-in Guest access Guest Access Guests have full access to the entire house and on-site parking area. During your stay, you may freely use the following areas: Entrance, hallway, living room, bedrooms, kitchen, toilet, bathroom, washroom, balcony, and parking space (tandem parking for up to 2 cars, free of charge). An outdoor smoking area (uncovered) is also available. Please note: Some storage areas used for management and cleaning are not accessible to guests. These areas are marked with “Staff Only” signs. A security camera is installed outside the entrance for safety, but no cameras are placed inside the house to ensure your privacy. Other things to note Other Important Notes ◆ In addition to the accommodation fee, Kumamoto City’s “Accommodation Tax” will be charged and paid in advance by credit card at the time of booking. “Accommodation Tax”: 200 yen per person per night Example: 5 guests staying for 2 nights ⇒ Accommodation tax: 2,000 yen ◆Check-in / Check-out: Check-in is available from 4:00 PM onwards. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. ◆No Smoking Indoors: Smoking (including e-cigarettes) is strictly prohibited inside the property. A designated outdoor smoking area (uncovered) is available for guests. ◆No Parties or Loud Music: Parties, loud music, and any behavior that may disturb neighbors are not allowed. ◆Security Cameras: There are no cameras inside the house. For safety and self check-in, a security camera is installed outside at the entrance. ◆Self Check-in: Check-in is fully self-service. The electronic door code will be sent to you one day before your arrival. ◆Quiet Hours: Please keep noise to a minimum at night. ◆Damage or Removal of Items: If furniture or equipment is damaged or taken, the replacement cost will be charged. ◆Amenities: Pajamas are not provided. Toothbrushes are available. ◆Kitchen: Cooking oil and seasonings are not provided. Tableware, rice cooker, and microwave are available. ◆Special Cleaning Fee: A flat fee of JPY20,000 will be charged in the event of vomiting inside the property. ◆Lost & Found: Items left behind will be kept for 2 weeks. ◆ID Requirement for Foreign Guests: For guests without a residential address in Japan, Japanese law requires presentation of your passport and a copy must be kept on file.
