Hallingbu – Cabin
Description
Newly renovated cabin (2022) with a Jacuzzi, a large terrace, and a fantastic 180-degree view of the sea and mountains. Three bedrooms with space for at least six people. One double bed and two bunk beds. Connected to electricity, water, and sewer, fully equipped kitchen, wood-burning stove, and office space. Here you get morning sun, tranquility, and direct access to both hiking trails and swimming areas. Perfect for vacations and working from home. Approximately 110 meters from the parking area, via a somewhat steep, gravel path with steps in the middle, up to the cabin. Best suited for those who are reasonably mobile. The space Spacious and inviting cabin, about 100 m², with a great location and excellent amenities for a comfortable stay. Supplied with drinking water from its own well (borehole). The cabin has three bedrooms, with two rooms having bunk beds (90 cm and 80 cm wide), and one room having a double bed (160 cm wide). This makes it well suited for both families and smaller groups. The cabin has a bright and open-plan living room and kitchen area, with a wood-burning stove in the living room and a large, well-equipped kitchen with all amenities, including a spacious countertop and an 80-cm (31.5-inch) range top. Here, everything is set for preparing great meals and gathering people around the table. Firewood is included. There is heating film in the hallway, corridor, and living room/kitchen, while the bathroom is tiled, has a built-in toilet, and features underfloor heating, as well as a shower with 100-cm (3.28-ft) shower walls. The outdoor area features a lovely terrace with a Jacuzzi, glass railings, wooden railings, and wire railings. For families with children, it is important to be aware of the wire fence, as small children can get through it if they are not careful. The hot tub cover is heavy, so it is recommended that two people put it on and take it off. When the hot tub is not in use, the cover should be secured with a strap. Below the cabin, there is a floating dock and a boat; these do not belong to the cabin. If you ask the owner, it's usually okay to launch a kayak or a stand-up paddleboard, and with a bit of luck, you can also catch fish from the dock. Two kayaks and paddleboards can be rented as needed, and there are fishing rods in the area. On nice days, it is also possible to rent a sauna tent (Lettsauna), which is set up right down by the water's edge in front of the dock. Guest access The entire cabin, except for two outdoor storage sheds and one indoor storage shed.
