Chalet les Moulins with a view of Lake Pannicière

A haven of peace in a sublime region, the Chalet 'Les Moulins', all wood from the region, is located in the Morvan Regional Park on the shores of Lake Pannecière. Warm and elegant, this 2-level chalet is heated by a wood burning stove. The staircase is made of century-old oak. The combination of these materials has created a cozy, practical and functional atmosphere. The space On the ground floor, a large main room with the living room on one side, and on the other the kitchen open to the dining room with direct access to the 38 m² terrace overlooking Lake Pannecière. One bedroom, one bathroom and a hanging toilet with hand wash. The living room is equipped with a flat-screen TV, sofa, three armchairs and two ottomans. The dining room can accommodate 8 guests. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, induction hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, classic coffee maker, Nespresso coffee maker, kettle, toaster, fondue set and raclette set. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed of 160 x 200 cm, two bedside tables, a dresser and a flat screen TV. The bathroom is equipped with a bathtub, walk-in shower, vanity unit, towel dryer and hair dryer. The 38 m² terrace is equipped with a gas barbecue and a dining area with teak furniture, overlooking Lake Pannecière. The floor is served by a mezzanine overlooking the kitchen and dining room, a double bedroom and a mezzanine bedroom. The bedroom is equipped with a double bed of 140*190, two wardrobe spaces and a dresser. The mezzanine bedroom is equipped with two 80*200 single beds, a nightstand and a dresser. The mezzanine includes two 90*190 single beds and two dressers, a desk area, a large closed wardrobe. A baby cot, high chair and changing table are available on request. The land is composed of several levels. The first has a 2-seat parking lot and a closed and secure live tank for our fishermen friends. The second is an orchard. Then another landing has a third parking space. Finally, on the last landing is the chalet. The back of the chalet has views of the forest. Ping pong table available in summer. Bed linen and bath towels not provided (Rental possible on site and on request before your arrival) Pets not allowed No smoking allowed (but large covered terrace with ashtray) Guest access The chalet is fully accessible, only a small attic is reserved for the owner Other things to note Lake Pannecière is the largest lake in Burgundy, a vast blue expanse of 520 hectares. It is at the heart of an exceptional green setting preserved in the Morvan Regional Natural Park. It is first and foremost a dam-reservoir built at the beginning of the 20th century following the floods in Paris. It serves to regulate the waters of the Yonne River, so its appearance, and therefore its level, changes throughout the year. Fishing is the main activity of Lake Pannecière, indeed, it is the largest and most fishy of the Morvan lakes. You can also go hiking, 1500 km of marked hiking trails, horseback riding (a horseback riding circuit along the lake), mountain biking, 2476 km of marked mountain biking circuits. Other activities around Lake Pannecière: swimming, pedal boats, canoeing, rafting, quad biking, climbing Scuba diving. The waters of Lake Pannecière are diveable day and night. The site is especially good for training. Good visibility from March to mid-July, beautiful herbariums, stone bridges at 6 and 9 m and village ruins at 12 m.
