The Pool House

The regency-era cob-walled barn is set in a wonderfully secluded part of a Devon valley, with the sound of the stream that springs a mile or two further up in the forest. The building is rustic and cosy yet airy, heated entirely with a log burner (excepting a good supply of hot water), but is deliberately WiFi-free. Downstairs is a kitchen, dining table and sitting room area, while up the spiral staircase is the mezzanine floor bedroom and bathroom. Escape for a bit.
