The space The apartment is a single bedroom apartment with an ensuite and open plan living-dining- kitchen area opening out onto a west facing balcony for afternoon sun. The apartment is in the Roi apartment complex in Fitzroy North. It's a modern multi-level apartment complex with secure key fob entry and underground parking. About the area: Fitzroy North is a charming inner-city suburb know for it's character: Victorian-era terraces and workers cottages, bluestone laneways and beautiful Edinburgh Garden. With a great selection of historical pubs, resturants, cafes and wine bars all within walking distance as well as public transport connections right at your doorstep, it's a great place to stay whether you're here for the footy, concerts, work or just exploring Melbourne. As locals we've compiled a list of recommendations in the information booklet at the apartment to help you enjoy the local area. Bedroom: The bedroom has a queen sized bed, a built in wardrobe and built in closet with shelving for additional clothing storage. Bed linen is included with extra pillows and throw rugs. Bathroom: The bathroom is an ensuite accessed through the bedroom, with toilet, basin and walk in shower. Towels, hand-towels and all toiletries are included (body wash, shampoo, conditioner, toilet paper and hand soap and sanitiser). Living area and Dining: The Living and Dining area is open plan and includes an oversize 2-seater leather sofa, coffee table and TV with google TV and Chromecast so you can watch all streaming channels (netflix, disney etc - requires your own login). There is a desk/table with chairs which you can use as a dining table or desk if you working from the apartment. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully set up for short or long term stays with a wide selection of cookware and utensils and plenty of plates, cups and cutlery. There is a gas hob, rangehood, electric oven, air fryer, mini fridge and a dishwasher for your convenience. There is also a Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother with lots of complimentary coffee pods supplied and a selection of teas. Cleaning supplies are also available for guests including dishwasher tablets, dish soap, cleaning spray etc and cloths. Laundry: the laundry cupboard is located in the hallway and includes a laundry tub, washer dryer, laundry basket, iron and ironing board. The washing machine is a washer/dryer combo in one. It's an AEG heat pump dryer so it's a bit slower than normal but it doesn't heat up the apartment with damp air like traditional dryers do. Balcony: The balcony is a small covered patio with an outdoor table and chairs and a section of plants. It's not large but it's quite nice for enjoying your morning coffee or an evening drink as it faces West for some great afternoon sun and beautiul sunsets. Underground parking: The apartment complex has it's own secure underground parking garage. This is accessed with the same key fob you'll collect on arrival and the elevators take you directly to level one to access the apartment without having to go outside. Guest access Access is via key + fob collection from a lockbox in the lobby. You'll have full access to whole apartment and balcony including washing machine in the private laundry (inside the apartment) for your convenience. You will also have access to the underground parking garage for free secure parking during your stay.
