Domaine de France is on the border of Lot et Garonne, Dordogne and Tarn at the foot of the picturesque, bastide town of Penne d'Agenais. This Artisan town has heaps of beauty and history to explore, everyone must visit. It has an amazing Basilica situated at the very top offering the best views you could imagine. Penne d'Agenais has been voted a most beautiful village in France and boasts several authentic restaurants, including one with Vegetarian menu options. The space This is a 3 Gite complex is surounded by 10 acres of private land Gite 1, Petite Maison is a Charming, 1 Bedroom Cottage with large private garden and patio, on this 3 gite complex. It has 1 bedroom and a mezzanine sleeping area, ideal for just one couple or a small family with children over 8 years old, 1 ensuite shower room, separate toilet, a fully equipped kitchen and lounge/dinning area. Complete with an idyllic wood burning stove, as well as electric heating for those colder winter evenings. Gite 2, Le Rosier is a characterful, 2 bedroom self contained Gite/Cottage. This light and airy gite offers, a fully equipped modern kitchen, shower room, living room, indoor and outdoor dinning areas, a double bedroom and a twin bedded room. Gite 3, Belle Vue is also a 2 bedroom self contained Gite/Cottage, with plenty of persona. Comprising of, a living room with wood burner, dinning area, fully equipped kitchen/dinner, shower room, a double bedroom and a twin bedded room, an outdoor dinning/entertaining terrace and large private garden. Gite 2 and 3 are interlocking, so can be opened up into one huge space for a large family and/or friends to share. All gites have their own entrances and there is a large parking area onsite. Guest access The complex is set in 3 hectares of parkland at the foot of the historical bastide town of Penne d’Agenais, this complex is peaceful and private offering the most amazing views. There is a generous, private, saltwater, swimming pool on the complex along with a games room equipped with, pool table, table tennis, along with a large communal terrace including jacuzzi and outdoor kitchen, which is great for hosting large dinners and parties. There are tennis courts at the end of the 10 acre site along with a water park, basketball court, 5 aside astro pitch, a fishing lake and some great pubs and restaurants. Other things to note Domaine de France is just 55 minutes from Bergerac Airport and less then 2 hours from Toulouse and Bordeaux Airports. Our local train station is a 5 minute walk with a direct route to Agen and connecting routes to Paris and Bordeaux The owners live onsite in a detached house and are happy to offer any help or information needed on local activities, venues, restaurants as well as helping resolve any problems you may have around your stay. You can have as much or as little contact as you would like.
