The Highland Haven, converted barn, John O'Groats

The Highland Haven is perfect for those travelling the NC500 or visiting Orkney in a group. Our two rooms have traditional box beds and can sleep up to 10 (4 in one room, 6 in the other), each with Ensuite and an extra wet room. There is a large open plan kitchen, dining, lounging area surrounding a wood burner. We have secure parking, free laundry facilities and WIFI . Our location is stunning and full of wildlife. There's nowhere quite like it, check out @thehighlandhaven #sconewiththewind The space We have been influenced by Scandinavian design and our bespoke box beds come complete with reading light, USB socket and privacy shutters. The ideal place to snuggle with a good book and a hot cup of cocoa. Our large living area is the perfect spot to cook, dine and relax in front of our wood burner. We have wonderful views to Orkney from our garden around the fire pit and have a BBQ & coals if weather permits. There are 3 beautiful wildlife walks with views over to Orkney and Dunnet Head. You may see puffins, orcas and seals. The perfect haven in the Highlands to relax and switch off. There is nowhere quite like it! Guest access Guests have the freedom of the whole barn and its facilities including bbq and firepit. From the property you can take 3 beautiful walks along the coastline. One leads to a tidal pool where seals can be seen. The other leads to the very tip of the coast, further North than John O'Groats, where orcas pass every summer.
