Socrates House, between the Woods and the Lake

Welcome to Casa Socrates, a peaceful haven surrounded by greenery. The ground-floor apartment of a two-family villa is embraced by a large, well-kept garden—ideal for outdoor breakfasts or relaxing to the sounds of nature. The ideal retreat for those seeking relaxation and nature, without giving up the lake’s attractions. The space The house is a semi-detached house. My apartment is on the ground floor and my neighbor's apartment is on the first floor. The garden is “ideally” divided in half with the neighbor who lives upstairs, but he never uses it. He has his hunting dogs locked inside a fence (inside which there are kennels) in a corner of the garden, far away and exactly opposite the windows of the house. His dogs are never free in the garden because they are kept and used only for hunting. Of course, he may let them out just to load them into the car and drive away with them. The garden is completely fenced in, but the driveway (which opens with an automatic gate for cars to enter) is shared with the person who lives upstairs. Please note (especially if booking with a pet) that there is no fence between the driveway and the garden, and the neighbor may open the automatic gate to enter or exit with his car at any time of the day. Guest access Access to the property from the street is via either the gate or the automatic driveway gate. Both of these entrances are shared with the neighbor. The entrance to the apartment, however, is separate. The neighbor accesses his apartment through the main gray door (located on the side facing the driveway). Guests of Casa Socrates, on the other hand, access the apartment from the other side of the villa, using a private brown door that is not shared with the neighbor. Other things to note As this is a semi-detached house with some shared outdoor spaces, politeness and respect are obviously required. For all the reasons mentioned in the accommodation description, the apartment is not recommended if you have a pet that tends to run away if it finds the gate open, if it is not friendly with “strangers” (such as neighbors) or if it is too territorial, meaning there is a risk that it will bark too much if it hears noises outside.
