The Dandelion guest house

A tiny house with a view! The Dandelion is an ideal getaway for couples and bike packers. We are located right next to the South by cycle route (Bikeland). Please note that the tiny house has no thermal insulation, so indoor temperatures follow the weather. Sights nearby: Billnäs, Fiskars, Mustion linna and Tammisaari. Nearest grocery stores in Karjaa (7km). Nearest beach by the river Mustionjoki (3km). The outdoor toilet serves as our guests own bathroom. There’s also an outdoor shower. The space The Dandelion has a sofa bed for two, a small cupboard with some simple amenities and a small table. Guests are free to use seating areas in the garden and also the fire pit for barbecuing. There’s no toilet in the tiny house but there’s an outdoor toilet. There’s also a simple outdoor shower right behind the tiny house. We are a cyclist-friendly location with a bike stand next to the cottage and a repair kit at hand. The location is ideal for cyclists doing Bikelands’ South by cycle route or couples looking to make day trips to Billnäs, Fiskars, Mustion linna and Tammisaari. Closest stores are in the center of Karjaa (7km). Tip 1💡 in Billnäs you can eat at the hotels restaurant, also the summer restaurant with its terrace by the old iron works has great barbecue. For those with a sweet tooth a visit to Billnäs chocolate factory is a must. Tip 2 💡Enjoy a delicious pizza with local ingredients at the pizzeria YLP! in Tammisaari. You have to book a table online - the pizzas are THAT good 🤤 in Tammisaari you also need to check out the new modern art museum Chappe. Tip 3 💡 One of Finlands oldest cinemas Pallas in the center of Karjaa is worth a visit. Book a two-seater sofa in the Kaurismäki-inspired theatre and have some wine or beer while enjoying a good movie. Tip 4 💡There are several horse stables nearby. If you are interested in doing a trail ride, the host can check for availability upon your arrival. Tip 5 💡 If you like shopping for weird stuff you’ll love Kasvihuoneilmiö. It’s an old green house that’s been turned into a palace of all things kitsch. Also their fresh deep fried munkki is to die for! The shop is a 40min drive from the guesthouse, it’s close to the highway number 1 between Helsinki and Turku. Guest access Guests are free to use seating areas in the garden and also the fire pit for barbecuing. The outdoor toilet is exclusive for guests during their stay. There’s also a simple yet private outdoor shower right behind the tiny house. Free parking is provided.
